David Hopper is a pioneering DJ and music producer whohas established areputation for serving up a potent blend of house andtechno. Besides maintaining a full DJing schedule at clubs,raves, special events, webcasts and radio stations, heregularly appears as a guest music reviewer for electronicmusic culture magazines. Hopper has been producingoriginal electronic music for the past ten years as a soloartist and signed his first recording deal with Blacc LabelRecords in 1998. In 2000 he set up an independent recordlabel with some associates called Overeasy Records andbegan collaborating with long time friend and fellowDJ/producer Dave Panek under the “D&D Project” moniker.Gaining immediate success with their first release, entitledthe “Sunday EP” and their second release “T he Drums EP,”both on Overeasy, the D&D Project has gone on to produceover forty five mind-blowing tracks. In 2002, Hopper beganshowing his true versatility by producing what has beendescribed as funky, chunky, jazzy house under the alias“Catfish Boogie Nelson.” Hopper also began producing grittytechno that was instantly picked-up and placed on heavyrotation with Planet Dance and T he Vortex on the SiriusSatellite Radio network and also featured on the DiscoveryChannel. He’s a regular in Beatports top sales charts with releases on some of the scenes top record labels, including: Toolroom, Defected, Rising, Leftroom, Sci+Tec, Strictly Rhythm, Cr2, Greatstuff, Kling Klong, Craft Music, Ministry Of Sound, Soulman and Muzik X Press. In his career he has been resident DJ at some of Uruguay’s best clubs As well as these residencies he’s played at many South America Festivals including Creamfields in Buenos Aires. As a producer, recent times have seen him remixing for the likes of Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Chris Lake, Soul Central, Chus & Ceballos, Loko and many others, with even more in the pipeline for 2011. David Delano Already a force in the Southern California club scene, David Delano is expanding his horizons and looking at bringing his brand of House and Club music to the world. David has played multiple venues in Colombia, Italy and Greece. David possesses a flare for music and is a technician on how he moves the crowd. Those who have been lucky to experience his talents in person continue to come back for more. Through his determination and hard work, he is now capturing the attention of some of those who he began studying. He was asked by Richard Vission to join the twenty year old mixshow institution of PowerTools. The show is the longest running mixshow in the U.S. Not to be boxed in just as a DJ, David credits long time radio veteran Swedish Egil for peaking his interest in producing. Through some of his early work David has also caught the ear of Paul Oakenfold. David released a remix of Shannon's Let The Music Play on Oakenfold’s label Perfecto which hit #2 on Itunes Dance Charts and was featured on Oakenfold's Vegas mix CD. He was also tapped to remix The Joyriders' London in Da House which was a huge international hit and could be heard on many djs sets and podcasts. David is quickly becoming an accomplished producer and ambassador of dance music. House music is his greatest influence and to quote the man “House music is a way of life!” DJ David Delano is a one man force to experience and he shows no signs of stopping as long as the people of the world keep dancing.
